Jay Veno is an emerging artist from PG County, Maryland, creating at the intersection of introspective R&B, melodic rap, and alternative soul.

Originally one half of Free Party, he began establishing his solo identity with “Favorite Jeans” before fully stepping into his own with the release of his solo EP,
Look We’re Flying.

Blending vulnerable, reflective storytelling with precise lyricism, chord-driven production, and grounded drums, Jay bridges boom bap sensibility with modern melodic composition.

Influenced by artists ranging from Lil Wayne, Kanye West, and OutKast to André 3000, Lauryn Hill, Prince, D’Angelo, Frank Ocean, and SZA, his music and cinematic visual world are rooted in identity, memory, emotional depth, and the contrasting perspectives that shaped his upbringing in PG County.
